Maria’s experience includes general civil litigation, business litigation and corporate directorship disputes, family law and estate planning. Maria has worked with attorneys and has managed and actively participated in cases from inception to trial.
While in law school, Maria served as an Editor for the Lincoln Law Review and was the Editor-in-Chief during her final year. Additionally, she won the Best Written Appellate Brief award for her Moot Court course. Maria graduated as a Valedictorian of her class.

Maria swam for the Russian National team at the World Cup and European Championship. Maria placed first in relays at the Russia Championships from 2003- 2006. She was a gold medal recipient in 2003, silver medal winner at the Junior European Championships in 2003, athlete of the year in 2003, three-time competitor in the Fina Swimming World Cup in Moscow in 2004, 2005, 2006.
Maria also swam for the University of Kansas swim team (2006-2009), shattering records and leading the Jayhawks to several championship victories.
